Authentic Consent
Authentic Consent is a 6-part experiential live online course bringing together embodiment, somatic theory, trauma awareness, and consent.
Consent is more than giving or receiving a “yes” or “no.” It is an ongoing, embodied practice shaped by our nervous systems, lived experiences, culture, relationships, communication, and power dynamics
Authentic Consent is a 6-part experiential online course bringing together embodiment, somatic theory, trauma awareness, and consent.
Through discussion, embodied exploration, and practical application, participants will develop tools for recognizing what is happening within their bodies, communicating wants and boundaries clearly, navigating negotiation and changing consent, and taking responsibility for both their own experiences and their impact on others.
Grounded in the Seven Principles of Authentic Consent the course offers a framework for cultivating greater safety, autonomy, connection, and choice in our relationships, communities, and professional spaces.
We seek to move beyond understanding consent intellectually, and develop a practice that can be embodied, communicated in plain language, and applied with cultural awareness in the communities we exist in.

Meet your Facilitators
Dr. Yael R. Rosenstock Gonzalez (she/ella) is a pleasure- and liberation-focused sex coach who supports people in building confident, embodied, and authentically consensual relationships with themselves and others. Rooted in pleasure, safety, somatic practice, and identity-aware inquiry, Yael helps clients move out of people-pleasing and into clarity about what they want and how to communicate it.
Yael is a certified Sex Doula, Sex Coach, EroSomatic Touch Practitioner, and Authentic Consent Facilitator whose approach is grounded in the belief that people are already worthy of pleasure and choice and that sexual wellness involves our whole selves: nervous systems, experiences, values, and relationships with community. She is a queer, kinky, nonmonogamous neurodivergent Jewish Nuyorican woman based in Puerto Rico and is the author of An Introguide to a Sex Positive You. Aliya Alewine (she/ella) is a multidisciplinary artist, movement educator, and somatic practitioner whose work centers embodiment, consent, and creating safer spaces for people to reconnect with their bodies. She holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, a 200-hour yoga certification, CrossFit Mobility certification, and a specialization in Kurunta Yoga, and is currently completing her EroSomatic Touch certification, Somatic Sexology studies through The Amina Institute, and training as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) at Contatto Wellness.
At the heart of Aliya’s practice is the belief that understanding our own profound desires must come first. The instructions for our path toward healing cannot be prescribed from the outside, but are found within each of us. Her role as a practitioner is not to determine that path, but to help clients name, experience, and metabolize the obstructions they encounter along the way. Through embodied consent, somatic exploration, movement, and touch, she aims to create enough spaciousness for people to listen more deeply to themselves and walk where only they know they must go.

People who want to develop a deeper, more embodied understanding of consent. It may be especially useful for people who struggle with people-pleasing, boundary-setting, communicating their wants, navigating “maybe,” or recognizing what their bodies are telling them. Also for professionals seeking to support their clients.

Rather than only talking about consent, we’ll have opportunities to explore what consent, choice, boundaries, desire, and activation can feel like in your body. Practices may include reflection, movement, breath, visualization, & other somatic exercises. You can always opt in/out of an activitity.

Consent applies to much more than sexual relationships. While we may talk about sexual consent and intimacy, the course explores consent across many kinds of relationships and situations, including friendships, family, work, community, and everyday interactions.
